Infant or convertible car seat ?

Is your baby in there infant car seat still or have you moved them to a convertible car seat already?

We stopped using the infant seat around 6 months because it was so heavy for me to take in and out and carry around. For me, the convertible seat has been so much easier!

I moved my son to the convertible car seat around 9 months. I wasn’t taking the infant seat out anymore anyways (he’s been too heavy for that since he was like 3 months old 😂) and I had to take my car in to get worked on, so when we got it back I just put the convertible car seat in rather than putting the infant seat back.

We’re moving baby boy to a convertible rear facing car seat this weekend. He weighed 29lbs at his last appointment Monday and the weight limit is 30lbs. We plan on keeping him rear facing as long as possible so I’ve been shopping around for what’s the best fit for us.

Doesn’t matter what others do what matters is what the manual says. If your child doesn’t fit based on what the manual says then switch. We moved to a convertible car seat a while ago and she will be rear facing in that for as long as freaking possible 😂 safe in the seat on IG has helpful information because it can be confusing

Both of mine have been in a convertible seat from day 1, I didn't want to carry that heavy ass seat around 🤣 my niece is 7 months old and I always watch her try and sit up when she's in her infant seat, I think unless they're a nb the convertible is generally more comfortable because they can look around

We transitioned the week of his birthday. He got too close to the maximum height. I miss the infant seat because he would fall asleep in the car and now he wakes up the second we get him out haha

We moved to convertible a couple weeks ago. She was 31 inches at her 1 year check up and the infant seat only went to 32 inches. And also I was tired of getting it in and out.

We moved her when she was 6 months, but it’s only because I got lazy carrying the carrier around and we had two convertibles. 
My son was in his infant car seat till he was 13 months.
