I was diagnosed with insulin resistance around 5 years ago. I was never put on any medication. I had 2 miscarriages (I can’t remember if this was before or after my diagnosis) and then went on to have a healthy son 3 years ago.

I’m pregnant again (3+6) and I read something today that said insulin resistance substantially increases your risk of miscarriage and now I can’t stop thinking that I’m 100% going to lose this baby. Is anyone else insulin resistance? I might ask to be put on metformin but I won’t get in to the doctor for another week and I’m worried that it’ll be too late.
