Update: It only happened once! so I’m thinking it’s more implantation related compared to period related. I know 12 DPO is the latest you can have implantation bleeding even according to the app.

I’ll test again on Sunday and see what happens.

I’m 12 DPO and I have very little spotting today of red/pink blood spots which I have never had before with my cycle. It has only happened once so far today. My period is due Sunday and I believe I ovulated on 8/8. My cycle is very irregular before and after baby. Usually if I spot before my period it is dark brown spotting. Could this be implantation bleeding?? I took a test this morning and it was negative, however, I read if you’re having implantation bleeding you may need to wait 2 days before having a positive test. Is this true?? I didn’t have any implantation bleeding with my first so this is new territory for me.
