Which was harder?

Question

Going from 1 kids to 2, or 2 kids to 3? My husband and were sure a year ago that we only wanted two kids. Now we both want one more. Which was a more difficult transition for you, for those of you that have 3+ kids?

I thought 2-3 would be harder because my middle son has autism BUT 0-1 was hardest. I didn't think 1-2 or 2-3 were bad. My kids are close in age (21 months between each) and are 4, almost 3, and 1. 
All three of my kids are extremely good at independent play and playing with toys though. None of my kids are clingy whatsoever so that helped a lot that the first one or the middle one never got upset when I had to stop playing to feed baby or change him or whatever.

Going from 2 to 3 has been a challenge, however, i think part of it is because my kiddos are close in age (4,2,8 months). 😅

I actually had an easier time with 2-3 than 1-2. My kids were 3 & 1 when #3 was born. I think I just felt like I really knew what to expect and I had more patience. My oldest was such a big helper which was amazing. The older two could play together so I wasn’t the sole entertainer like I was with my oldest when baby #2 was born. 3 is definitely more chaotic but so much fun!
