So today I’m 30w and 5days. I went in for a growth ultrasound and my OB appointment. Well my ultrasound was 15 minutes late to appointment and did a terrible job. Like horrific. She wouldn’t wait for a full view of a bone before measuring, she didn’t want me to even look, she did what should’ve taken easily 20 minutes and made it 10. My doctor even commented that either the baby has not stayed on his growth curve or the tech severely messed up. But because she technically checked all the boxes insurance won’t let me get another one till I’m almost 35 weeks (which is when I delivered my last kid). I’m frustrated that I’ve been looking forward to this and she didn’t even do a good job. Thankfully I scheduled a private ultrasound months ago for Monday so I will get to see the baby then. Sorry for the venting but my husband just looked at me like I was speaking in tongues when I explained it to him lol.
