Watery Eye?

My 2 week old has a watery eye she also seems a bit mucasy like she has a cold wonder if it could be related or something else, eye doesn’t appear to be inflamed or red.

Use cooled boiled water and a fresh piece of cotton wool to wipe each eye (just wipe once from the tear duct to the outer corner). Do this a few times a day and it should clear up all being well in a few days.

My little one had conjunctivitis really early, if your breastfeeding rub a little milk around the eye. If you get concerned contact your health vistor or gp x

If you breastfeed, drop some milk in the corner of the eye.. put a warm wet wash cloth on it every once in a while. My daughter had green gunk coming out of her eye and this is what I did.. it went away within a week.

It’s probably a blocked tear duct.  Just wipe it when it gets goopy with a warm wet washcloth.  Most clear up on their own after a few weeks (or sometimes months) without an issue.  2/3 of my kids had this
