My bf told me this morning that I am boring and never want to do exciting things. He said "I told you about the Waterpark and doing BBQ and nothing"

We didnt go to the Waterpark because it got too late and we were suppose to have a BBQ with my family. I told my family the night before and the same morning of the BBQ he told me he decided to make plans with his friends. I didn't tell him anything and left it as that.

Now his friends are going to 6flags and I had surgery about 2 days ago so i can't go. I have to rest. I dont see him asking me how am I feeling....

We just got back from 1 week trip to TX and we didnt do absolutely anything I wanted. Before we went he agreed we were going to do things I had planned and once we landed it all changed. I had to go and follow him where HE wanted to go. All we did for me was stop at walgreens to buy anti nausea medicine.

He proceeded to say "all you want to do is go try out Asian or pastry places" and I said "yeah....but we never do any of it. We actually never do anything I want. At all. But if it was your friends telling you to go you would go without hesitation..."

(That's an extreme sentimental topic for me because he always chooses his friends over me...) it was at that moment I realized we have never done anything I want in this relationship....

He said "ok dramatic"

I got mad/sentimental and told him "I have to go...bye"

I'm a single mother and he chooses often to go to hazardous/too thrilling non-kid friendly places. It's not easy for me to find a babysitter at the last minute... he has 2 kids but they're with the mother so he's free to do as he pleases whenever. I can't....

Maybe we're just too different. Eventually we aren't going to work out... he always find faults in me...

"You're getting too fat" (maybe a bit but I think I look average)

"You need to cook better" (too this I said "okay help me so I can learn...I want to learn..." He said "no. Watch videos and teach yourself!"

"I want you to dress nice 24/7! Die you hair and wear color contacts! Only wear nice clothes"

Now it's "you're too boring!"

It's always something....
