In my opinion, yes.
But, if you’re financially stable, have saving, have your own place, have your own insurance, don’t rely on your parents for money, are done school, and are in a loving and stable relationship, then you may be ready.

It is more about where you are in life than your age. But generally, I would say 18 is too young for 99.9% of people. I have never known an 18 year old that was both financially stable enough and mentally prepared to take care of a child. Anyone I know who had a child that young had to live with their parents or relied on their parents to babysit constantly because they couldn't afford daycare. Which, if your parents want to babysit, great. But you should be financially stable enough to be able to afford daycare in case you need it.

I had my oldest child at 18 and I wish I would’ve waited. I never got to figure out who I wanted to be before my kids took over my life. I never got to go to college. I’ve never went out for drinks with friends. I have no social life. My life revolves entirely around my kids. I rarely even leave the house. I wish I’d had a few years to discover who I am before having kids
