6wk & 8wk scan!?

Question

Has anyone requested an early 6 week scan? Found out I’m pregnant with our double rainbow baby, so I’d like to be seen early. I’m sure that won’t be a problem… but I’m wondering if they’d also let me come in again for another scan around 8/9weeks? 
I’m 5 weeks today! (I think… 😂) 
Has anyone done this!?

I’ve had my first and then I had a MC at 6 weeks and then I lost our son at 16 weeks so my dr saw me immediately and I go in again this week for another ultrasound and basically has said I can make my appointments as frequent as needed to make me feel more comfortable

I had several miscarriages before my current pregnancy and told the doctor’s office I wanted to come in and confirm I was pregnant at 5 weeks. They did a tansvaginal ultrasound and I got to see the gestational sac. Doctor sent me for labs and scheduled me to come back at the 9 week mark for another scan and follow up.  At the first prenatal visit I also talked to the doctor about being put on progesterone suppositories because of my concerns of miscarrying again. I found out in other countries this is a common practice for women who have miscarried multiple times to help sustain the pregnancy. My doctors words were “it wouldn’t hurt” and he wrote the prescription. It wasn’t covered by my insurance but gave me peace of my this time that I was trying to be proactive. So maybe something to talk about with your OB.

I have previous miscarriages as well. My doc did HCG and ultrasound at 6 weeks and I have another ultrasound scheduled for 8 weeks. 
Worth an ask to see if your doctor will do that!

Wishing you the best of luck! i had a scan at 5w2d, 6w6d and another scheduled for 8w2d but we did IVF.
