Heat rash? Herpes? Candida

Question

I get an itchy red rash on the top of my buttcrack that comes and goes every now and then. I’ve always figured it was from sweating and wearing thongs, but I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if it could be something more serious ? Like I said, it’s happened more than once, I’ve never noticed any ulcerations, but herpes is always a concern. 
(The redness and little red dots only ever pop up after scratching)

It sounds like it may be heat/friction rash. You can try something like Lumē, it's a deodorant for your whole body, not just armpits. It'll help with the sweating and discomfort from having the skin rubbing against each other. There's also stuff like baby powder to help with moisture reduction
