I’m really on the fence about it and heard so many contradictions to wether or not it’s safe during pregnancy. Please help

It’s not only safe, it’s highly recommended.  It’s far more risky for you and the baby if you were to contract covid

I’ve chose to get it at this point. I’m scheduled for my 2nd dose of the vaccine today. It just seems the risk are too high if you catch it unvaccinated and pregnant. I work in retail so I come across quite hundreds of people everyday. If I was to work from home like the other young lady did. I may have gone ahead to wait. I wish there was more clear concise reasearch on how the vaccine affects pregnant women and what happens with baby thereafter. However it’s all about what you are comfortable with. I knew I would wait until atleast 20 weeks to minimize miscarriage risk since I’ve had so many.

I am not getting the vaccine. I was pregnant all last year when there wasn’t even a vaccine available and never got covid. And I was around people who ended up testing positive later. I had a fine pregnancy until the end when he died bc if a small placenta due to genetics, nothing to do with anything environmental. This time around I am keeping it the same and not getting the vaccine. I could never live with myself if something happened bc I received it bc living with my sons death that I had no control over is already unbearable at times. Also my husband and I own 2 retail stores and do comicon events and have been around thousands of people and been fine. We only had 2 months last year of quarantining right in the beginning when everything got shut down. You gotta do what is best for you and your family. This is a hard decision and I hate that people are judging others either way. Good luck. 💚

My doctor now wants me to get it where as before she was supportive of me waiting until after. My main thing that keeps me on the fence is as soon as I list myself pregnant, I immediately get asked to join the study group. That makes me feel like we genuinely still DONT know, and are only advising to get the vaccine and saying it's safe because they feel whatever the negatives COULD be, it's better than getting COVID. 
But you can still get it with the vaccine, and they advise getting any other vaccines in the 3rd trimester if you get them (TDap,Flu). 
The advice is going to change as we learn more, obviously, but my stance is I know SOMEONE has to be the study group, but that person isnt me or my baby. I have already lost a child once.
It feels like a catch 22, because you could not get it and then not catch COVID. You could not get it, and then catch it and it be mild. You could not get it, and then catch it and it be bad. Or you could get it, and it might have am affect we won't understand for years. You could get it, and still get COVID. Or you could get it and everything could be fine. 
The difference to me is getting the vaccine is an added variable in an already confusing, politicized issue. 
At the end of the day, the vaccine is for you, not to protect your baby. So baby is secondary in the mind of the medical field.

I personally am not going to get it until after birth. I plan to just physically distance myself after 28 weeks which isn’t ideal but makes me feel more comfortable. I am lucky enough to work from home and all my close contacts have had both doses of the vaccine. 
I was personally told by health professionals at the beginning not to fall pregnant or to try to conceive within 3 months of getting the vaccine, because they believe this would have a negative effect. But the advise has totally flipped on it’s head over the past couple of months which has just confused me! 
Each to their own and I completely agree that everyone has to do what they are comfortable with 💉
