Why do some people get pregnant so quick ??

I’m 34 and on my 10 month of TTC. I’m shocked that it’s taking me so long. My periods are regular and have always been. I have a friend who decided to get pregnant and it happened first try! Why does it take longer for some and not so much for others? I don’t know what else I can do to make myself more fertile. I’m trying it all!

Some people are just lucky. Not everyone’s fertility or journey will be the same

First of all, you don't know if it was her first try. Yes it can happen for people that way if they are lucky, but usually not. Many people will feed you the line "oh we just started and it happened right away!!!" In reality, nobody really tells the truth. I have a friend who went around telling everyone she got pregnant the first month they tried. Turns out, she had been trying for over a year and was just flat out lying. This process sucks for a lot of us. We are just the silent majority.

I got pregnant my first try back on November.. miscarried in March and haven’t been able to get pregnant since even though I have regular periods, I am ovulating, my hormones and ovaries look great and my uterine lining has fully recovered.
