Baby Shower Dilema

I’m due November 28th with my rainbow baby boy. I do have an almost 2 year old boy as well. I wasn’t going to have a shower for this baby because a lot of family thinks you shouldn’t have a shower for the same gender baby.. but I have two very sweet friend that told me they are throwing me one even if I didn’t want it because I lost 2 babies before my little rainbow and we should celebrate! I am terrified no one is going to show up. My shower is in a few weeks and so far only my mom and sister have said they are coming. Did anyone else go through something similar?
