So.  Yes, to an extent in the following context…
People who interact with other people form a spiritual or energetic, or whatever you want to call it, connection.
For instance, an amazing speaker, can inspire you when they give a talk, motivate you, move you to tears.  
You can walk into a room and feel something is off, get a bad vibe from others.
Some people do absorb others’ energy or vibe, but either way we all affect each other in some way or another …and sex is no different.  But I don’t believe if you have sex with someone struggling with depression you’re automatically going to become depressed.

I think being around someone with bad energy in general will make another person feel off or bring them down. If you are around someone who is always negative or effects you as well. As far as transferable spirits and sex I do not believe that personally.
