My doctor have noticed my HCG bloodwork shows 3.3x higher than average range on every 48 hours (3x tests overall). He want me to come in for a ultrasound appt but I was only 5 weeks pregnant on the day of ultrasound appt. During ultrasound appt, the technician seem disappointed by able to see just a gestational sac but no yolk sac. So she said it’s possible too early to detect and said, ‘I don’t see any baby, but would like you to come back within two week on 7th week to take another ultrasound.’ I was emotional and unsure what’s her intention with disappointment. 🥺

This is my first pregnant and I’m so new with everything. So, Is this normal for a 5 week pregnant and the ultrasound shows just a gestational sac?
