Can spotting on birth control mean pregnancy ?

I’m not consistent with my birth control i honestly suck at keeping up with it so i usually spot a lot from missing it but i was wondering if spotting on your birth control could mean pregnancy as well or would you just not bleed at all ? I just feel a little different this time around and started spotting just not sure if it’s from missing my birth control or i could be pregnant.

it’s from missing your BC, you probably feel weird since you’re not consistent with it, your hormones are probably all over the place

Agreed! Not being consistent with the birth control causes an imbalance of the hormones, which can cause spotting as well as many other side effects. That said, pregnancy is also always a possibility when ur not consistent with the birth control, so definitely take a test to be sure. If ur not pregnant & would rather not be anytime soon, then u seriously need to start being more consistent or get on another method of birth control, such as the implant or an IUD.
