How hot is too hot for baby to be outside?

Question

At what temperature do you keep baby inside? 
It’s 90 degrees here today and I’d like to take my 2 month old for a walk this afternoon but I worry that might be too hot. 
I asked my pediatrician earlier this summer what was considered too hot and she didn’t really give me a straight answer so I’m wondering what other moms’ rules are.

Just want to add that the only reason I was considering an afternoon walk is because the org I work for is holding an event at 4:30 just a short walk from my home so I was wanting to bring her to give my coworkers a chance to meet my baby. It’s a 20 minute walk each way and the event would be like a half hour. I decided against  taking her. My gut is just telling me it’s too hot for her.

When their cheeks get red that means they are getting too hot. You also want to be careful that putting a blanket over the stroller to block the sun actually traps heat and makes it hotter in their. I also go by the rule of thump that if I’m uncomfortable in a temperature they most likely are at sooner rate.

Just use common sense, keep out of direct sunlight, light clothes (maybe even just a cute onesie or if you find one small enough a little romper), they have fans that attach to strollers, and make sure they are getting enough breastmilk or formula to stay hydrated.

I think it depends on the walk, if it’s mostly shaded I’d say go for it. Dress baby in thin clothes, use a sun hat if you have it, stroller fans are great to circulate air! 
But if baby will be in direct sunlight and/or your worried about it then maybe not!

That seems okay as long as it isn't for too long also you need to take into consideration the air quality a lot of people forget about that. You should see what the quality is like in your area and treat your child as somebody who has respiratory issues

I don't take mine out above 90. And anything above 80 no longer than 20-30 minutes. We do all our outdoor stuff in the evenings or early mornings to get around it.

Both my kids were born in the warm months (August and May). Just keep them out of direct sunlight. As the other commenter said, we have a stroller fan and I kept my kids in very light clothing but covered the stroller only to block out the sun. I never covered it fully though just to the point where the sun was not touching their skin. 
We also didn’t go out for a long time but I couldn’t deny my oldest outside time 🤷🏻‍♀️ so we made it work

I usually put a little tank top and extra thin blanket to keep the sun out her eyes. And i have a fan i got off amazon and were gone!!! I keep an eye for her getting sweaty but im in Ga and its hot as hell here too..i have a 7 week old!
