Using my maiden name as a baby name?

Question

My brother is not having kids & my cousin(male) has his father's last name, so that is the end of the family last name. Bearing that in mind, I wanted to give one of my children the name. My SO is on board. My maiden name is Cristian. 
I think it's cute for a boy, but I'm also in love with Cristiana/Christiana (Cristi-ah-na) for a girl.
Which do you like better?

I think it's a great idea. I'm a teacher and I see a lot of this when I look at my students middle names. Great way to carry on a family name!

Love it! A kid I nannied has his moms maiden name and he has loads of cousins to carry on the name- his is Campbell  😊

We didn't think my older brother and his wife was going to have kids. I know my younger brother won't. So we were going to make my dad (hes actually my step dad, but hes the only dad I've known, my older brother is his bio son)  last name our babies middle name, cause its unisex. Low and behold my brother and his wife got pregnant and it's a boy! So the name will live on! We decided not to use the name after their happy news.
