Any mommas get covid while pregnant? Should I get the infusion for it? I need advice

I’ve gone on long and hard about this with my OB. She is adamant the risk of getting covid is way worse than any potential side effects of the vaccine. I just scheduled my shots for the Pfizer one. My friend who is 36 weeks pregnant and unvaccinated almost died from the delta variant and was just released from the hospital. They were hours away from intubating her and delivering the baby via c-section. Her vitals started improving and they didn’t end up doing that Thank God! But now, from the covid, she will more than likely have to be induced early as her blood pressure has skyrocketed and she’s very very swollen. I’m not saying to scare you, but this is bad with the delta variant. And I was very much not going to get it as of just a few days ago. Seeing my friend and how it affected her really made me change my mind. The delta variant is hitting pregnant women so much harder. According to studies in the US and UK, 98% of pregnant women who are hospitalized are unvaccinated.

I had covid, just recovered. It was awful but I’m glad I didn’t do the infusion. It’s experimental. No say what would happen to you or baby in long run. They showed me some paperwork stating that it could inhibit my bodies natural immune response in the future. 
That being said only you can make that judgement call.

There is certain criteria to qualify for the infusions. You’ll have to see a dr and they will be able to tell you.
