I went into the hospital on 7.2.21 to be induced for a vaginal delivery I was already 1cm dilated.. they gave me Cytotec first which was giving me contractions but I wasn’t dilating so then they gave me Cervadil which didn’t help me dilate as fast. So they decided with Pitocin which everyone knows that makes the contractions even more horrible! I went 30 hours before deciding to get the epidural and 3 hours later on 7.3.21 they decided for a C-section since I was only dilated to a 6. While in the operating room they checked to make sure I was numb enough but i kept telling them I could feel them pinching me. When they began I could feel them cutting me open, it was such a painful burning sensation. They had to load me full of medication! I could hardly stay awake.. they were on top of my chest while pulling my son out and everything! this was definitely a terrifying experience for my first birth. A lot of people I’ve met say they’d choose a c section over vaginal birth but my goodness! Not me! My whole body was in so much pain and even a month after I can’t be on my knees because they are still sore which is odd. But it was all worth it for my sweet baby boy ❤️
