2O week ultrasound, measuring ahead

At my 20 week ultrasound, my baby was measuring 21 weeks exactly. The sonographer was not concerned and said babies can sometimes have growth spurts. Also the size was within their 2-week range (either bigger or smaller). Our first child measured a few days ahead at 20 weeks, but nothing was mentioned then.

I met with the midwife afterward. She made a special point to highlight how my baby is measuring too big and we will want to keep an eye on it and may want to induce early. I’m freaking out thinking I’m doing something wrong (not eating properly enough, etc) and/or there’s something “wrong” with my baby. I feel like it’s too early to be so alarmist.

Anyone been in a similar situation?
