So I’m trying to just settle this. Because I’ve never met anyone else in person that gets this too but I know there have to be people out there. I get cholinergic urticaria, which in very simple terms means I break out in hives from the heat. Not like heat rash, but my entire body and face is covered in insanely itchy hives surrounded by big red blotches and I can’t do anything about it until my temperature returns to normal. It’s something I’ve dealt with all my life so I never thought it was strange but these are some of the things I deal with living with this.

-any shower over tepid water means spending 10 minutes after the shower covered in hives and miserable

-hot tubs = looking like I was attacked by bees

-summertime is ✨misery✨

-if I get angry or very sad I break out in hives from my body temp raising

-I also sweat VERY VERY LITTLE like where someone else would be drenched after a jog I barely broke a sweat. Not cuz I’m in shape, but because my body doesn’t release enough for some reason 🤷🏽‍♀️ but what little I do release causes you guessed it, HIVES!
