What week did you get your first Prenatal Massage?

I’m going to be 22 weeks on Thursday and already feel the need for a massage. Has anyone started to get prenatal massages or planning to in the near future?

I feel like they are too delicate when I do prenatal massages. I want someone to work my muscles.

I got one once and didn’t enjoy it because they couldn’t use enough pressure :/ but if you prefer gentle massages then you’ll probably like it!

Not a prenatal massage as such, I saw my physio last week (23wks) and she worked on my hips/lower back and omfg it was the best thing ever! I felt like I was walking on a cloud afterwards. 100% recommended.

I just had one today, I’ll be 24 weeks on Thursday. I enjoyed it, my hips were super tight and full of knots so it wasn’t relaxing at all but I feel a lot better now. Im going again in 3 weeks, definitely recommend.

I had one last week at 21 weeks, my back was literally full of knots, my baby was going crazy in my tummy the entire time and i was sore the next day but after tons of water my body felt amazing and still feels great this week. I plan on getting one at the end of each month and I’m incorporating chiropractic adjustments soon!
