Aunt flo is late

My husband and i are TTC baby #2. My cycles are alway regular (average of 31 days). This month we had sex on days 8, 13, 16, and 28 and i ovulated on day 18 (we took a break this month from actively trying, but still did not use any protection).

I took a test the day before my period was supposed to start and it showed negative (not really surprised there) but now i am 3 days late and took a second pregnancy test this morning and it was also negative 😢.

Could i still be pregnant and it just be super early? How long should i wait before taking another test? With my first i showed positive a week before my missed period.
