Hi, so I was just wondering if there are any other mamas out there like this, and if so what did you do? How did you cope?

I have a 21 month old who co sleeps (his own bed attached to mine) and he wakes up every night at least once and needs soothing. Whether it’s a pat on the back or a full on rock crying situation.

I’m due in 5months.

I guess I’m worried how the sleeping arrangement will work. The 2year old will only take mama to calm down and sleep and the baby will be breastfed. So both children will need me. If the baby cries and wakes up the older child or if the child wakes up and cries and wakes up the baby.

Any other mamas who co-sleep or even in same bedroom with a toddler and a newborn. How did it work for you? What was your system to making it work?

I do have a husband that can help, but his work makes it so he needs his sleep in order to function at work. And I really don’t want to split the kids up and sleep in separate rooms. We also don’t have a spare room to do that.
