If I mute somone?

If I mute somone will I not see any of their posts and they can't see any of mine? is that how it works? if I comment on somone else's post they dont see that or Visa versa correct?

It only stops their posts and stories from showing up in your feed, you can still see their profile and they can still see everything your doing so if you comment on someone's post they will still see it. If you don't want them to see your profile or comments you should block them.
