Mom shaming

What is something that you’ve been mom shamed for? Something that, at the time, made you feel like a bad mom, but looking back you could care less about what other moms said!

I posted in a mom group on Facebook once about how guilty I felt letting my 9 month old watch tv all day because I had a horrible head cold and headache and could barely get off the couch. I was jumped at and told “you should feel guilty!” “You’re ruining your baby!” “Tv will mess with her brain!”

I felt so horrible I called her doctor and she literally said “my children all watched tv. I watched tv as a kid. Some tv here and there to keep you sane is fine.”

Left the mom group after that!
