My 4 month old is a fabulous nurser and just started childcare a week ago (only doing half days for now). She is so slow feeding from the bottle and sometimes simply refuses it. We introduced the bottle around 3 months and she wasn't a huge fan, but she would take one per day. My sister is her child care provider and does paced bottle feeding, has tried holding one of my shirts, tried multiple bottle/nipple types and nothing seems to help. Some times she is probably drinking half of the amount she would normally eat while breastfeeding. I know she is struggling with the transition overall because she will cry when I leave her 😭. Will this get better with time? Any tips?
