Is this okay?

Question

I have a 22 day cycle instead of the normal 28 day cycle. So I only have 3 weeks between every period. My periods are always consistent. I was told this is not normal and is a sign of infertility. Is this true? I’m so scared because I have been ttc for a couple months now and nothing.

What? Who told you that? 
I have a 25 day cycle, sometimes it's 23 at the least, sometimes 27 at most. But my cycle, the majority of the time, is a standard 25. A normal cycle is 21-35 days. That's NORMAL. Not everyone is a classic 28 day cycle. 
The thing about having a 23 day cycle is that you ovulate early. So really you should be having sex as soon as your period ends because you'll more than likely ovulate from CD 7 to CD 11. In my 23 day cycle fertility friend predicted an ovulation at CD 8. 
This cycle, I ovulated at CD 10, therefore I may just have a 24 day cycle if the sex wasn't enough to catch the egg. 
So no you're not infertile based on your cycle. Infertility, if explained, is down to other things i.e not ovulating, blocked tubes, STIs and the longer term affects etc etc. Whoever told you that is someone who knows very little.
