Hi guys, I’m roughly 6 weeks pregnant based off of my last period, however my cycles are all over the place so I could be a bit earlier. I went to the hospital yesterday after I went to the bathroom with heavy bleeding. When I went to the hospital my blood pressure was really low. They immediately got me on a drip and took some bloods. They could confirm my hcg levels had risen, however they wanted to take me for a scan. It’s important to note that I wasn’t cramping with the bleeding. When they took me for the ultrasound they could only see the yolk sac, but they didn’t seem to worried as they didn’t exactly know how early I was. They saw something else and all of a sudden there were 5 drs in the room. No one would tell me anything.. they finished my scan and took me back up to the ward, where I waited to see a gyno to analyse my results. When the dr came she said I had a hematoma and that’s what was causing the bleeding. She said I also had a large amount of blood collected next to my right ovary in my stomach. She said most likely it’s one of two things. A cyst that was on my right ovary that burst or an ectopic pregnancy that terminated. Either way I still have this sack in my uterus. I’m just wondering if anyone has had similar stories and had everything be okay? I’m note on bed rest for a week and then I will have another scan. My bleeding had subsided at the moment, but I am so lost. I’ve had two miscarriages and I really thought this was going to be my rainbow baby. I’m just looking for any comfort or kind words xx
