CM fluctuates so much throughout a cycle for a number of reasons, so I wouldn’t rely on it to determine if you’re fertile or not. If you do test and your OPK is positive, then yes, it’s safe to assume you should have sex within the next 12-24 hours, regardless of CM amount. Some women produce a lot more than others (hence why they make sperm friendly lube to help couples out). 🙂
