How important is it to bd today?

I’m trying for the first time after my second miscarriage in July so I’m trying to remember if we NEED to do it on ovulation day.  I was predicted to ovulate yesterday, but pretty sure I got my peak yesterday on OPKs so I would ovulate today.  My husband and I don’t really feel like doing it today but will if it’s important! We just hate feeling like it’s scheduled lol

I had my peak two days ago, BD that evening, ovulated yesterday and BD last night. I would always BD on ovulation day no matter what, but I might miss tonight and BD again tomorrow 😊

I’ve read that every other day is actually better because it can take 24-48 hours for a mans sperm to replenish to the best quality. I think yesterday and tomorrow will still give you great chances!

To increase your chances I would say yes if the data is accurate and you are actually on ovulation day! Technically what you have already shown it is possible to go without!

It takes only one sperm and skipping today would be fine!

No you’re fine, esp since the sperm lives up to 5 days. I did what you did, was every other day which seemed to work for me instead of days straight lol
