Hey Everyone, 
I have had 5 positive tests from multiple brands then went to the doctor today, and they did a urine test and it was negative. I’m pretty confused. My period isn’t due until Sunday. I have had two previous miscarriages. Has this ever happened to anyone?

Where I live, we get offered a urine test which we don’t have to do, but always a blood test. We can go there and say I want a blood test for pregnancy and they’ll do it. I guess it’s different because I’m in Australia and we don’t have to pay anything. But definitely see another doctor

Happened to me and I told the nurse that it was positive that morning. Got an ultrasound scheduled and there was my second!

In my experience I had faint lines, went to clinic the first strip they took was negative but the second one they took after I demanded they re do it, was positive! Then I confirmed with blood work, now I always test with two at the same time because of that! These all look positive the doctor just seems lazy

I work at an OBGYN office and if a patient gets faint lines we immediately offer a in house urine pregnancy test and an HCG blood draw with the option to come back in 48 hours to see if the number double

Find a different doctor. If you can, find a midwife clinic. I can't stand OBs, midwives have always been more patient and listen to the tests I want. Like getting an HCG draw and progesterone when OBs wont unless 'they' want to.
