My one roommate for this upcoming school year (college) just suggested we sit together when we all move in to discuss rules for the house for the year. We all have our own rooms and we clean up after ourselves for the most part. Sometimes not all of them do right away all of the time but I’m fairly chill and definitely not confrontational so I don’t really care all too much. That’s not saying I’m the messy one, but idc if they are bc we’re busy and in college. And we all get along and have overlapping friend groups.

But what are some good rules we should have about like guests and chores and stuff??? I lowkey think she brought it up bc I have a boyfriend and so he sleeps over sometimes which I could see she having a problem with since she’s kinda like anti-men lately (rightfully so lol). But like we all have our own space now so I don’t see why that would matter. Like I wouldn’t care if one of them has anyone over. And I don’t wanna disrespect anyone at all, but I’m independent and we’re all adults lol. Also feel like she brought it up bc the other girl is more of an arguer and a bit slower on cleaning up her messes. Me and the other girl are actually closer so I feel like she might think she’ll be left out but that’s not what we’re trying to do
