Got our BFP and want to start preparing right away. Is it too early???

I’m 12 weeks, I’ve started buying a pack of wipes here and there to spread out the cost, and I’ve been digging through the thrift store clothes as soon as I was okay with neighbors seeing me there 😂
I don’t think it’s too early, but since my nursery is currently being used as a guest room with just an air mattress in it I’m not super excited to add furniture for a bit- I’ll probably buy stuff and not put it together for a while

The first time around was kind of weird because before we even got pregnant I was already researching things and dreaming and picking things out. But as soon as I got my positive test I was in complete denial and wouldn’t look at baby clothes talk about it or get excited until after my first ultrasound at the end of the first trimester. I was just pretty sure things are going to end horribly and wouldn’t let myself feel any Joy about the pregnancy.
With this baby I went and bought yarn to start working on a blanket the day I got my positive test.

For our first, who was unplanned, we started getting things and preparing around month 7-8. For this one, we already have everything from our first and will probably start setting up things like swing, bassinet, etc in month 8-9 because I don’t want our first to have too much time to mess with things before baby arrives lol

Never too early. Babies are expensive. I started getting stuff before I was even pregnant with my last baby boy. This time, baby doesn't need much since he is another boy. Im 22 weeks and already have the carseat/double stroller and a playpen with bassinet(didn't have one with last baby). As well as a few small things. Don't need diapers since I stocked up for my last baby, and have a bunch leftover.

I’m 12 weeks and we already got a stroller travel system,  pack n play, and crib. We will probably be getting the rest in the next few days since I’ll be in my second trimester soon.
