6 weeks constant lower back ache

Skylar

I’ll be 6 weeks tomorrow. I had a chemical pregnancy in 2018 and a miscarriage at 5.4 weeks in 2019. I’ve been having early pregnancy cramps, which from what I’ve read is normal. This morning I woke up and my uterus is aching, it just feels so sore and my lower back is aching too. It’s like a constant ache. I’ve read that it could be round ligament pain but then I’ve also read that it’s too early for round ligament pain right now. Is this normal? I’m so scared that it’s a bad sign that I’m going to end up miscarrying soon. 😭 Has anyone else experienced this around this time? I have a new OBGYN and I don’t want to annoy him before I even come in for my first appointment but if this is something I should call his office about, I will.

I had some really bad cramping around 6 weeks. I was so nervous I went to the ER. I am now 9 weeks & have seen & heard my baby’s heart beat :). Cramping can be normal, I wouldn’t be concerned unless there is some spotting or unless you are in so much pain you are doubled over

If you’re ever getting pain that’s concerns you you should contact a medical professional. Don’t worry about annoying them, it’s what they’re there for. You’d feel worse if it something and you didn’t contact them

Thank you for the responses! It has subsided after relaxing and taking it easy today. Now my hips are just sore, so I’m assuming it’s from everything growing and stretching.
