What is the problem with Subway and lunch meat?

I know that people say to stay away from lunch or deli meats but I've been eating turkey sandwiches like everyday and I've been fine. Also I eat Subway all the time and I get a $6 Italian BMT and I've had no problems. Don't worry!

Its not really the bacteria is all the sodium and nitrates found in lunch eat and hotdogs....just eat them sparingly is what i was told by my obgyn

Listeria is the risk when it comes to lunch meat. It can be very very dangerous to you and your baby. Pregnant women are more at risk because of a weakened immune system.

Nothing is wrong with lunch meat. I eat subway all the time...
There's a bacteria  risk but that's true even when your not pregnant and your chances are slim of getting it. It starts with a l but I'm not even gonna attempt to spell it BC it wont be right lol

My specialist told me to just make sure the sandwich is toasted or the mean is warmed in the microwave for 15 seconds

I'm not a fan of subway.  I think firehouse is better.

I eat subway like every other day haha! There's a higher chance to get a food borne illness when pregnant, that's all. I usually just get my sandwich toasted when I go.
