Coming this far in my business, and working with other indigenous strong peoples - all while battling epilepsy & healing generational trauma. I got this, and this picture I felt so powerful, working every day to honor my ancestors while teaching my children so I can be a great ancestor myself. My business Morning Mist Soap was once doubted, and it’s only getting better. Never did I think I’d be growing my own ingredients while teaching my children out language and literally harvesting on the same lands my grandparents were forced to work on. I’m simply proud.
