Towards the beginning of this pregnancy, I found huge lists of herbs and spices you shouldn’t eat and freaked out because I eat so many of them!! The bigger problem though was that I couldn’t find a reliable source for most of them, it was random websites. I asked my OB office if there was a single reliable source and they didn’t know of one either! But they said as long as you’re not eating massive, medicinal amounts of them, most are perfectly safe.

I wouldn’t worry about that, from what I’ve read oregano itself is fine, however oil of oregano should be avoided. I know some people will take that for different health benefits. Oregano as a herb seems to be just fine!
