Cold sweats

so I’m getting over a cold which I really thought I had covid. I tested negative twice with the rapid tests. But I keep getting hot flashes and I just overall feel off. It started with a painful sore throat which then went away on day 3 then I started getting congested my head was throbbing stuffy nose, eyes hurt. Well today I feel better I’m not as congested anymore but I keep getting really hot and then it goes away and comes back. Well I went outside to watch my daughter play in the pool with my mom & soon as I stepped foot outside I am dripping in sweat ready to pass out. I live in Florida so it is extremely hot out but I don’t sweat like that at all. Is it normal after a cold to get like this?
