vfl and blood test????

has anyone ever had a blood test negative pregnancy test and keep getting faint positive pregnancy tests.? and end up being pregnant. i need to know!

Yes I had a faint positive at 9 and 10 dpo. I went in for blood work. My dr said it was negative. I told her I was still 3 days before my missed period. She said to be considered a positive in blood work your HCG has to be above a certain amount so if your early yes you can technically by medical standard you could be negative on blood work and be pregnant.

Not me personally, BUT I’ve been on this app for several years and have seen many women post that this happened to them! Some were just for a short while until HCG ramped up but there was someone on here that didn’t get a positive (blood test) until like week 6!!! I have no idea why or how it happens but I just wanted you to know that there have been other women who have had this! Hopefully some chime in - I would post this question to other groups as well (I.e. TTC together, TTC in your 20’s or 30’s, General TTC, etc.). Good luck!!! 🤞

Currently had a digital positive last night n went to er for blood work n it was a 1.2😭
