Should I go to the emergency room?

I tried looking up what this meant and go no results and I’ve taken a pregnancy test and it was negative and I’m on birth control.. I’m bleeding after I pee and i can only see it when I wipe. It started three days ago and it’s gotten heavier over the few days and my birth control stops period from happening so I don’t know what is going on.. does anyone know what this could be? I’m worried I have some sort of cancer going on down there..

Sounds like some spotting if it’s only after you wipe. I don’t think this warrants an emergency room trip unless you’re in discomfort physically. Call your doctor.

From an ER nurse… please do not go to the ER for spotting and waste resources that are already stretched so thin right now with Covid. Call your OB Monday. It’s probably just some break through bleeding.

Is it painful to pee? Sounds like a uti and can lead to a kidney infection.  
I personally wouldn't go to the er. I'd just go to a minute clinic in the am.

If it's just the bleeding then I would suggest making an appointment with your gynecologist. If you have pain in your abdomen or on either side of your lower back, fever, nausea, vomiting or diarrhea THEN I would suggest the ER.

Birth control can cause adnormal bleeding I would google your birth control and look at the side effects . It’s probably not a biggie . I would see a gyno, the hospital won’t do anything .
