Tampons?!! 🔴

I've never used a tampon but I'm so afraid to use them. I've already had a baby & now my period flow is much lighter. I work all the time & pads are a growing hassle. 
Any advice on what or how to start? Or just how to woman up & do the damn thang lol??

I prefer tampons over pads anyday! Don't be scared of them! Just go for it!

They are quite simple! If your flow isn't heavy I'd definitely go for the regulars or lites! All you do is stick it in vaginal opening and push the stick! I'd choose tampax pearl or Playtex sport! Don't buy a cheap tampon or cardboard! You will feel them and they are quite uncomfortable! Go for the pearls, you can't even feel them! Always get a plastic applicator! They work best in my opinion!!! Good luck!

Embarrassing story, after my first two periods I was determined to use tampons because my periods were so heavy and long. I would go through a pad in 2 hours or less. I was about 12 years old. My mom, who is a nurse, got me tampons and talked to me a little about it and I read the box. I was in the bathroom for 20 minutes ...no luck, I couldn't get it in. I asked my mom for help again and she talked me through the steps. After about another 3o minutes to an hour I couldn't get the tampon in! At this point I was emotional and crying and pissed. Soooo my mom helped me put the tampon in... Most awkward moment of my life, but I got through it!! Luckily my mom was a labor and delivery nurse, so not to out of the norm for her lol. You are probably better prepared because you are older than  I was haha. I started out standing up and propping a leg so it went easier. Hope my story made you laugh and feel better :D

Just do it! If u know how to put it in then just do it! I had trouble with tampons for years as a teen. I didn't start using them until I was 19. I'm now 21 and I use them all the time. You'll get past it once you use your first tampon if I can get past it you can too!

Have you considered using a cup? They will save you a bunch of money since they are reusable, they are comfortable, and if your flow is light you can wear it for 12 hours without leaking

My first time using them was scary, only because I worry to much lol. It may feel a little uncomfortable taking them out & putting them in BUT once they're in (if you put it in correctly lol) you don't even feel a thing, like nothing is even there.

Tampons are very useful and comfortable. I prefer them over pads. I say u should just do the damn thing. Don't be afraid the instructions are in the packaging. Trust me they'll change ur life. Feels like nothing is there.

If you're period is light, start off with regular tampons (They'll go up to super & super +. They're huge, ha). I use U by Kotex. They're the most comfortable I've tried and easy to use. 
Relax yourself and make sure you're inserting it completely inside. The packaging should come with visual instructions, ha. If you feel it & it becomes uncomfortable, it's not in all the way. You can also use Vaseline to help get it in if you find a problem with that.
