Clinic trying to make money off me?

So I had a friend recommend a clinic to me... She had a IUI after non invasive investigations.

My results are similar to hers (same situation happening, sperm seems to get attacked by my body, the same thing happened to her) but instead of offering a IUI to me, the clinic wants me to undergo a Laparoscopy?

Do you think they're just trying to make money off me? Or do you think because I'm younger than her (granted only five years) they want to check out everything? I haven't gone back to speak to them, I'm just a bit worried about their intentions.
