Warts ?!?

My kid is only 6 and has a wart on his scalp I read it’s caused by hpv but how could he have possibly caught that ? How do I remove it

My brother and I had them on our hands when we were that age. We went to our family doc to have them frozen off. We went quite a few times and they ended up disappearing on their own years later. I have had some on my foot I’ve tried to remove with at home products and it ends up burning my skin off around it and not doing anything. With it being on his head I would for sure encourage you to talk to a doctor about it.

Bleach gets rid of them also they sell things specifically for hpv warts. But this is just general info not sure about the kid, maybe a dermatologist?
