I am 6 weeks postpartum and I tore my right labial minora in half during birth so doctor burned it off and stitched it back together (so I thought). I got cleared and my doc noticed that my labial minora is just hanging, it is not connected so they told me to come back and get stitches to repair it if it causes discomfort. As I am having discomfort. I guess I’m just looking for closure or if someone has walked in my shoes 😫

When I had my son I tore my left labia in a similar way where it just hangs. I opted for no stitching as I had an unmedicated birth and didn’t want to have anymore pain down there than I needed to. I had discomfort for a month or so that slowly abated. 
If you’re having discomfort try to keep the area safely lubricated (maybe not moist just a mild natural lubricant like coconut oil occasionally on the area in case of rubbing) until you can have it addressed medically.

Yikes that’s sounds awful I’m so sorry. I didn’t have it happen to me I’m sorry I just wanted to sympathize. I hope you can get it fixed or will heal on its own
