When should I do these things?

When should I start sterilizing bottles and pacifiers. When should I install the car seat. I’m 35 weeks 
Thank you, I’m a new mom and i don’t know when I need to get these things done because my mother keeps telling me to wait but it makes me anxious.

I feel like the right answer is whenever you feel like it. The sterilizing bottles and paci’s doesn’t take long and I’d want those to be freshly cleaned right before use so I’d probably put that off to the last week or two. I don’t even think it’s necessary to do before you deliver because the hospital will give you all your initial needs.
But the car seat.. I mean put it in today if it makes you feel better. Why not?

Girl whenever you want! Don’t let people tell you it’s to soon. When those nesting urges come and you have the energy to do those things, do them. Until then do what makes you happy

I did all that with my first kid lol just used the kettle boiled water.. To clean nipples.. Bottles and suckys.. The rest of my kids just used soap and water

You can do it whenever u want . And then if u do it now I would probably just repeat the process when it’s closer to delivery. All up to you . It’s an easy process

Bottles not until a week before. The car seat you shouldn’t install until it’s time to get. It takes 5 minutes. If you get an accident now and the hospital, you’ll have to buy another car seat because it is no longer safe to use.

I turned 35 weeks today. Today I took it upon my self to wash all the baby’s stuff. We pulled out the car seat and put the stroller together. Honestly we’ve been doing things little by little. We set up the bassinet a couple weeks ago, we set up the mamaroo a few days after to make sure that everything was working fine, in case we had to ship it back. We’ll install the car seat in a week or so I think. The bottles I’m not in a rush because I do plan to breast feed and with my daughter I didn’t really use them.

I’m coming in on 34 weeks and we installed the car seat this weekend. We are trying to get our bags packed but a lot of the stuff we are packing we use on a daily. As far as bottles I would personally wait until closer to 40 weeks so they are freshly cleaned and sanitized. It honestly comes down to however you feel and what you want to do.
