Miscarriage?

Hello everyone. I’m 5 weeks today and I started having thick brown discharge yesterday and today it has become red too. No cramping, but I’m convinced it’s a miscarriage. I tested this morning shown in the picture. It’s a light bleeding when I go to the bathroom/wipe.

There are lots of reasons for spotting. Have you had your HCG levels checked? That can help to give you peace of mind. Definitely call the doctor to get some labs ordered 🖤

This is my 5th pregnancy. My first 3 were healthy never had any spotting. My 4th one I did at 11 weeks turned out to be missed miscarriage. It was brown spotting very light for 3 days and then bright red spotting with pain. This time I had spotting at 5 weeks (brown and when wiping then some pink) and convinced myself it was a miscarriage. turned out I have my first ever yeast infection and that was causing it. US showed all was where it was meant to be. Best of luck to you!

I had spotting exactly at 5 weeks and it was two hematomas. I asked doctor for two HCG tests and numbers were doubling every 33 hours. Call your  family doctor and ask for two Hcg tests to see if levels are growing

I had this same thing happen. Don’t stress too much. I went to the er and they said it was caused by vaginal trauma from sex, and some women bleed from even walking up the stairs.

Plus since you’re still early it could be old period blood passing
