I got my first menstrual cup during my last cycle. I wore pads for the first year or two I got my period and then switched to tampons. I love tampons, but I don't like the negative impact single use period products have. The first couple of times I put in my menstrual cup, it hurt to take it in and out. It was an unbearable, excruciating pain. But I realized I was putting it in/taking it out wrong. (I was inserting and taking it out straight down instead of at an angle, like how you're supposed to do with tampons.)

I just got my period just now and I pulled out my cup, a little nervous for the pain but still excited. It went in with absolutely no pain!! I know this might be lame to be so excited for putting in a cup right, but I feel so proud of myself. I've wanted a menstrual cup for years and I'm so glad I finally did it ❤❤☺☺
