Baby food maker

Hi everyone, 
I’m looking for an option that’s glass to make my own baby food. I found this Oster 3 cup food chopper and I’m wondering if this would work? I also found the glass Beaba Babycook and the Brezza glass baby food maker, but both of them have sketchy reviews about glass chipping, food buildup, etc. Plus they are kind of expensive and I don’t really want a big bulky thing on my counter all the time.
Does anyone have experience making baby food (purees) without a steamer/blender made specifically for baby food? Is it easy to steam food separately on the stove, then blend it using something like this, or would it be easier to have an all-in-one device? Help!

We steamed food in a regular pot on the stove then used put blender & food processor to puree it.

This was a LIFESAVER when I was making purées for my daughter :) you can make them super smooth or keep a bit of texture for older eaters and it was like $20 at Target. We just steamed on the stove or used frozen steamable bags of veggies and stuff for bigger batches

Keep it simple, you won’t use it (for baby food) for as long as you think.

This is metal (the part that comes into contact with food) and can be taken apart for easy cleaning. I just steamed in a basic pot with a metal steamer basket or a glass bowl in the microwave with a plate on top. You can use this blender in a glass bowl, jar, measuring cup, pot. And you can use it for a ton of other stuff. I make soup all the time and I use this right in the pot

My LO just started eating solids, but we have no intention of buying any baby-specific cookware. Just going to use our smoothie blender.

We just steamed the food in a regular pot them blended in our blender. Didn’t have to buy anything and a lot of the reviews for the all in one baby machine cited mold as a recurring issue across the board. And they are super expensive!
